Known for her collaborative spirit and narrative insight, she bridges the gap between page and stage, moving seamlessly between developing new scripts, managing large-scale productions, and performing on the world’s most prestigious stages.
Recent projects include script development for Thom Southerland's musical adaptation of The Pianist, assistant director for the Jane Austen-inspired musical The Last Rose of Summer (Mayflower Mast Youth Company) and development dramaturg for a folk music-inspired reclamation of the Ancient Greek myth, Medusa, written by Parisa Shahmir.
What is a dramaturg?
A dramaturg is a literary adviser or editor in theatre, opera, or film who helps research, interpret, and shape scripts.
They work closely with writers and directors to make sure a production makes sense, maintains continuity and connects with its audience.
